We have plenty more volunteer tree planting opportunities across Surrey. If interested, please see the list of our tree planting sessions here: Volunteer Tree Planting with Surrey County Council | Eventbrite

Please do join us on this journey and help us plant trees.

You can get outside in the fresh air and do some gentle physical activity to keep fit and improve your mental wellbeing. Other positive benefits include:

Learn new skills at a short workshop about tree planting and environmental benefits
Meet like-minded people
Make difference to your local community
Make a positive contribution towards the climate emergency
Create habitats for some of our endangered wildlife
Leave a legacy for future generations: your great-grandchildren might one day be sitting in the shade of a tree that you planted.

Planning your Visit

Sunday Services

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at St Margaret’s Church for our Sunday Services . We usually have two services of differing styles on offer, Holy Communion will be celebrated at one of these services every week.

9am  This is a traditional service using liturgy from Common Worship, usually  with hymns
10.15am This is a more contemporay service with music led by our worship band, groups for children and young people and a longer sermon

We will hold a Unified service at 10am celebrating the best of both traditions. This will be for occasions such as Remembrance Sunday, Christmas Day, Easter Sunday, and our Patronal Festival. We will also come together as one church family when there is a 5th Sunday in the month.

In term time, children and young people start off in church at the 10.15am service and are invited to go to their groups although babies and children of all ages are welcome to stay in church at any time.
Contact our Youth and Community Leader for further details.

Coffee and tea is served after both services.

Accessibility: We have step-free access and a sound loop. There is an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities in both the church and the Orchard.
