Messy Easter   Messy Easter

Join our celebrations from your own home!
Follow the link to our ‘Messy Easter’ playlist on YouTube.

There you will find a range of videos, created by our Messy Church team, of different Easter activities for you to join in with at home.
How will it work?
We will all start together at 10am, watching the ‘Welcome to Messy Easter’ video.
You can then choose which activities you would like to complete from the playlist of videos. You might choose to do some, or maybe all of them.

'Due to some technical difficulties uploading to YouTube, the celebration video will now not be available at 11, as mentioned in the previous information.
There will be a few more videos added to the playlist later today, including the celebration... In the meantime please continue to enjoy completing the other activities and do still have a hot cross bun at 11!'

At 11am we will all pause our activities and watch the ‘Messy Easter Celebration’ video. Here we will listen to the Easter story, pray together and eat a hot cross bun (if you have one at home), followed by some songs of celebration.
What will I need?
All of the activities have been created to consider the resources that you may have available at home.
If you do not have the items used in the videos, you can either swap for the items you do have, or skip ahead to the next video.
You might want to have some of the following items out ready to use:

  • Paper and card
  • Scissors and glue

  • Coloured pencils/crayons
  • A jar and a tray

  • Marbles and paint

We are looking forward to celebrating with you!
