What is CAMEO?
The acronym ‘CAMEO’ stands for ‘Come And Meet Each Other’. It’s a drop-in which provides an opportunity for individuals to meet up for a chat and to get to know each other while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of cake in warm, friendly surroundings. It's an ideal place for carers to bring the people they care for.
Is CAMEO a club?
It’s not a club so there are no entrance or membership fees or other enrolment criteria. Donations towards the costs of the food and drink would, of course, be welcome.
Is CAMEO only for people who live in Hooley?
No, all are welcome.
What if I don’t know anyone?
No problem, you won’t be left out. We have a team of friendly individuals who will chat with you and introduce you to others. Who knows, you may find a new friend who has the same or similar interests to yourself
How often is Cameo held?
CAMEO takes place on the second Wednesday of each month in Hooley Village Hall in St Margaret's Road from 2-4pm.
Put the dates in your diary and come along. If getting to CAMEO is a problem let us know and we may be able to ask someone who lives nearby to pick you up. If you have a queries or question about CAMEO, you can leave a message for Alison Elson on 07393235004 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
